The disused quarry at Lethen House, just South of Auldearn (in Moray, Scotland) has exposed sediments where fossil fish bearing nodules can be found together with plant remains.
Tillywhandland Quarry, fossil fish locality, nr Forfar, Scotland
Just a 5 minute walk from the roadside, this flagstone quarry is a world renowned locality for Devonian fossil fish - found in laminate rocks in spoil heaps.
