Scotland’s Geology, Structural Geology and Fractures

I’ve spent most of my career working with faults and fractures and their impact upon fluid flow in the production and exploration of resources in both academia and in industry. Recently I’ve gone back to my roots by focusing upon outcrop geology. In particular, that of Eastern Scotland as I live there.

My aim here is to make Scotland’s geology more accessible to all through blog posts, other writings and geotours and fieldtrips. I will combine this with my background in structural geology and fractured (hydrocarbon, geothermal etc.) reservoirs.
